It started with some people not knowing the Delirium Christmas beers during FOSDEM. I've brought some bottles with me and will add other beers + some snacks.

My goal is to share the different flavours, not to get you drunk ;)

I think there's enough room for 10 people (I have 3 bottles per beer)

With this workshop you will learn how to sew and use a Lilypad and LEDs on clothing (you can chose what kind of clothing; shirt, dress, gloves - you can bring the clothing yourself or let us know if you want a shirt+your size).

Costs: 10 euro (because of the materials used).

We will use:
* Lilypad Tiny / Lilypad
* Conductive thread
* White LEDs
* A Programmer
* Arduino software
* Normal thread, needle, scissors

You will get to take your project home of course!

Eth0 is a high-tech geek conference. It aims toward sharing knowledge on technology/IT related fields including security, networks, programming, privacy, new (open) technologies, ethics and hacking. At daylight there are [[Eth0:2017_winter_talks|talks]] on these subjects, but when the sun goes down its definitely time to pick up the slack. There will be enough to do, as we have a bonfire, a fully equipped [[lounge]] (with bar) and an overload of hackerspace activity. Maybe someone brings along lasers and there is room to party. Enough reason to pick up the slack and go to eth0:2017 Winter?

= Basic info =

This year, we're gathering at a new location, the Alibi Hostel in Leeuwarden (at the Blokhuispoort) There will be talks, workshops, '''awesome''' maker machines and the best of all we will meet all our friends and fellow hackers.

The event starts on Friday 6pm, and will be open until the Sunday around 6pm. There is be plenty of hacking and talking time. Obviously as we would love to get all your projects, we have plenty of space available for you to display your projects, on and off-stage.

= Tickets =

We're glad you want to attend Eth0! First come first, you buy an entry ticket (day, or weekend) for every attendee above the age of 3. If you want to stay overnight, you complement this ticket with one of our bed/room options (let us know if you need a baby-bed or other arrangements for small children).

There's a special price regarding the weekend tickets for young and upcoming hackers (geeks above the age of 3, but below the age of 18) and the whole site is accessible by wheelchair.

This time we have 2-person rooms, 4-person rooms and one large sleeping area with private sleeping pods

* There are four 2-people Luxury rooms, with two beds next to each other.
* There are 14 2-people rooms with bunk beds.
* There are two 4-person rooms with bunk beds.

Some notes:

* There's one 2-person luxury room with disability access, let us know when you'd like to use this one.
* The 2-person rooms are bought per two beds, on one name (if you want to share, the other person buys a weekend ticket only).
* The 4-person rooms are bought per person/per bed, be sure to come early (or send your friends) to claim them if you want a specific combination of people in one room (everybody buys a weekend ticket + a 4-bedroom ticket).
* The dormitory has a separate bed for 17 people, and a locker for every bed (buy a weekend ticket + a pod ticket).
* You can also choose to just buy a day/weekend ticket and arrange for a sleeping area yourself off site.

There's lots of places to park, but not all of them are free. [https://www.prettigparkeren.nl/kaart/#!Leeuwarden/ Here's an overview]. The closest parking garage (that's open all days) is [https://www.parkeergaragesleeuwarden.nl/parkeergarages/de-klanderij de Klanderij]. You can also park on the streets near the building, but keep in mind that lots of the places there are only for a short stay and you still need to pay.

== Facilities ==
All rooms have heating, are newly restored, and should be plenty cosy for everyone.

You need to bring your own sleeping bag / pillow (also, we don't have enough toothbrushes for everyone).

Lunch and dinner will be provided*. Please inform us if you have any dietary requirements.

There will be an auction for the 1% and -if there's more demand than availability- 2% room. The auction will be held via this wikipage.

= rules =
The bids are ranked by price. (and time)

There are two auctions:
Auction 1 for the 1% rooms, 2-3 single beds, room incl private shower and toilet:
the highest 7 bidders will win a 1% room. Start bid: 100 euro
Action 2 for the 2% rooms, 2-8 bunkbeds, usage of general showers and toilet:
the highest 10 bidders will win a 2% room. Start bid: 60 euro

There's one 1% room with three beds. Please state with your bid if you're particularly
interested in this room. If multiple people are interested, the room will be assigned
according to bid and time (first and highest bidder first)

The highest bidder can choose the room the first (potential excluding the 3-bed 1% room)
The room can be shared with as many people as there are beds in that room. Further plans
are up to the winner, but all people included must have a normal ticket.

The auction for the 1% rooms will be held till the 7th of February 2016, 23:59 o'clock (CET)
The auction for the 2% rooms will be held till the 12th of February 2016, 23:59 o'clock (CET)

De 2% auction will be open a couple days longer, in case people want this as backup if the 1%
room doesnt work out

All profits will be to do fun stuff with by Stichting Eth0

Participation is only open for people who are already in possession of a normal Eth0:winter:2016 ticket.
The outcome of this auction is only applicable to the distribution of 1% and 2% rooms during Eth0:winter 2016.

The amount of the bid is an upgrade relative to the normal ticket, payment must be made before the event.

Every bid must be a multiple of 10 euro.

Its allowed to bid the same as somebody else did, you'll be positioned UNDER the already existing bid(s)
with the same amount.

Every bid is binding and is not allowed to be removed (we have logs!)

Use with every bid <nowiki>"~~~~" </nowiki> (four tildes, no quotation marks) to state your name, date and time for this bid.

Sort the bids yourself. Be fair. Cheating = bye.
