we're always interested in learning new skills, hearing about
your projects, new developments, and all the stuff we still don't know
enough about yet. If you want to be a speaker add your talk to the
schedule.

No-prep workshops (where the “host” doesn’t need to prep, because he’s
into it) are extremely welcome. Otherwise, if you have discovered
something, have a project running or are involved into quality stuff;
just give a workshop or factor it into a talk.

Timelapsebox

The idea is to have a self contained box that anyone can build, and change that can be setup on a field / in a building before anyone else comes in. Starts taking pictures trough any and all connected webcams/camera's and stores a timelapse on its storage media.

This box would stay online during the entire event and easily and without any extra steering needed create a nice timelapse video for every connected camera.

Eth0 is a high-tech geek conference. It aims toward sharing knowledge on technology/IT related fields including security, networks, programming, privacy, new (open) technologies, ethics and hacking. At daylight there are [[Eth0:2017_winter_talks|talks]] on these subjects, but when the sun goes down its definitely time to pick up the slack. There will be enough to do, as we have a bonfire, a fully equipped [[lounge]] (with bar) and an overload of hackerspace activity. Maybe someone brings along lasers and there is room to party. Enough reason to pick up the slack and go to eth0:2017 Winter?

This year, we're gathering at a new location, the Alibi Hostel in Leeuwarden (at the Blokhuispoort) There will be talks, workshops, '''awesome''' maker machines and the best of all we will meet all our friends and fellow hackers.

The event starts on Friday 6pm, and will be open until the Sunday around 6pm. There is be plenty of hacking and talking time. Obviously as we would love to get all your projects, we have plenty of space available for you to display your projects, on and off-stage.

All rooms have heating, are newly restored, and should be plenty cosy for everyone.

You need to bring your own sleeping bag / pillow (also, we don't have enough toothbrushes for everyone).

Lunch and dinner will be provided*. Please inform us if you have any dietary requirements.
