View source for Eth0:2026 Autumn/Telephony

DodgyTel will be providing you with Premium™ Telephony services during eth0:2026.

Once you arrive on site you'll be able to claim your number(s) of choice. At $LOCATION we'll have a terminal set up on which you can provision your phone numbers.

= DECT =

Like last year we'll have a DECT network covering the site. Phones you've previously used at other events (such as Congress) should be compatible. You can check compatibility against EventPhone's list: https://eventphone.de/doku/dect_phone_compatibility_list

= POTS & Dial-up =

Plain telephony service will be available in both hackcenters. Bring your own cable to connect to our Point-of-Presence. The telephony jacks on DodgyTel's side will be RJ45.

For plug stability reasons we ask you to use RJ45 at your distribution point. Use the middle pins (4, 5), see https://docs.cutel.net/technical/wiring/

If you're planning to surf the internet like it's 1990 we'll be providing you with a Dial-up service with PPP. Details on which number you need to call will be provided closer to the event.
