The OV-Chipkaart (the Dutch variant of the London Oyster card), is a card that can be used to pay for all public transport in the Netherlands. These cards are notoriously insecure, and the proprietary encryption algorithm has been hacked multiple times. Not to mention the invasion to our privacy. Still the politicians want to continue with the current implementation. This card will be the sole mode of payment for all public transport in the Netherlands from February onwards.
