Unformated infodump from wollviech:

19:17 < wollviech> regions: there's st. anton/lech am arlberg, which isn't as high but has a
significant amount of piste real estate between 2300 and 2800m. also expensive if
                   booked late
19:20 < wollviech> other contenders in tyrolia:
19:21 < wollviech> Soelden's nice and has a lot of stuff above 2500m

19:23 < wollviech> since i'm pasting ski charts, here's the two from st. anton/lech (one skipass)

19:25 < wollviech> and ischgl: http://www.bergfex.com/ischgl/panorama/
19:26 < wollviech> next, Italy
19:27 < wollviech> there's Alagna, which is reasonably cheap and high
19:27 < wollviech> http://www.bergfex.com/alagna-valsesia/panorama/
19:27 < wollviech> James and fail would probably like it, because it has gorgeous free runs comming out
                   of both ears
19:31 < wollviech> overall a rather hard resort, though. i don't whink foobar for example would like it
19:34 < wollviech> there's Cortina d'Ampezzo, which is nice and feaures gorgeous Dolomiti panorama, but
                   also very expensive
19:34 < wollviech> http://www.bergfex.com/cortina-ampezzo/panorama/
19:36 < wollviech> alta badia is very nice, too: http://www.bergfex.com/alta-badia/panorama/
19:38 < wollviech> its (slightly, and for Italian definitions of) cheaper, reasonably high up, in the
Dolomiti, and I think it offers a nice range of possibilities for all of us
19:43 < wollviech> oh, and how could i forget it
