Revbank
From Eth0Wiki
With RevBank, you pay in advance for your drinks and snacks at a number of hackerspaces. Similar to tokens or a ticket, but neatly recorded digitally without blockchain. Convenience is paramount: paying for a drink generally only takes about 3 to 5 seconds.
RevBank is software, not a central system. So you have a separate balance at each hackerspace; you cannot use your balance from one space at another. (This is intentional; the advantages of separate systems outweigh the advantages of being able to pay with a remote account.)
Because RevBank can be configured flexibly with plugins, it works slightly differently at the various spaces. The way you top up your balance varies, for example, if a space only accepts cash or not at all. The "help" and "deposit" commands will show you what's possible.
The basics are the same everywhere: scan product barcodes, then check out by typing/scanning your account name.
